Where can I check whether a property is available?
You can enter your travel dates on the very first page of our website. All the available properties are shown on the pages that appears next. In addition, each property has an individual calendar that is displayed just below the location map. Please contact us if your favorite property is already booked. We are often able to recommend great alternatives.
How do I book a property?
Once you have decided on a specific vacation home or condo, you can either book instantly online or send us an inquiry. Some of our properties require confirmation by the owner prior to any booking. As soon as that confirmation has been given, we will send out a detailed rental agreement.
The property is booked as soon as you have returned the signed contract and made the down payment. Feel free to contact us anytime about the properties that can be booked directly online, too, in case you have any questions.
How much is the down payment?
The down payment is 20% of the rental amount plus the service fee. We accept credit cards (Visa and MasterCard), wire transfers and personal checks in U.S. funds.
When is the balance payment due?
The balance payment consists of 80% of the rent, cleaning fee, tax and security deposit. It is due no later than 30 days prior to arrival, and should be paid by personal check or wire transfer.
What happens if I need to cancel the booking?
The 20% down payment is unfortunately non-refundable if you cancel the booking for any reason. If you cancel shortly before the arrival day and have already paid the balance in full, 100% of the rent and the taxes are non-refundable. You will receive the cleaning fee and the security deposit back within about four weeks after the cancellation. It is recommended to purchase travel insurance.
What happens if the property I booked is not available?
In this event – which happens very rarely – we will make every effort to find a comparable property and offer it to you as an alternative. If you decide against this alternative, or if there is no alternative available, the contract can be cancelled from either side. In this case, the down payment will be returned immediately. Further demands will not be considered.
When is the check-in and check-out time?
You can move in any time after 4:00 p.m., as the keys are normally left for you right at the property. Check-out time is 10:00 a.m., unless other arrangements have been made in writing. If new guests are expected to arrive on the same day as your departure day, the check-out time must be observed.
How do I get in the property?
In most cases you drive straight to the property, not our office, as the key is left for you at the home. That way you can get in any time, even if you arrive late at night. Condos usually require that the key is picked up at our office. You’ll received the necessary details in an e-mail prior to arrival. Please set up the check-in appointment with the property management after you arrive.
What is included in the property?
Each property, whether home or condo, is equipped with linens, towels and beach towels, hair dryer and an initial supply of soap, detergent, paper towels etc. Please purchase these items if they run out during your stay. The kitchen comes fully equipped with large and small appliances, pots, pans, dishes etc.
A washer and dryer are available to guests. Vacation homes furthermore offer a covered patio with a gas grill. Many properties also provide bicycles or fishing gear. Please check the individual description on the website for details. Beach equipment can often be found in the homes as well, but is not guaranteed. Every property offers free WiFi.
When do I get my security deposit back?
The security deposit is refunded within about four weeks after you leave, minus any charges for unpaid electric fees or repair costs for damages you caused during your stay. It is returned by check or credit card, whichever you prefer.
Can I bring a pet?
We don’t allow cats, but several of our vacation homes accept small and sometimes even larger dogs. There is a $100 pet fee. Vacation condos do not permit pets at all.
Do you have any Last Minute deals or monthly rates?
Yes, we do! Most of our home owners offer a discount of 10% to up to 30% if you arrive within the next 14 days. Almost all of our properties can be booked at a reduced monthly rate if you stay at least four weeks. Please contact us for details.
